THE OMOYE COVENANTA 10-POINT AGENDA FOR YAGBA WEST

My Dear People of Yagba West,

Leadership is not about occupying an office. Leadership is about service, accessibility, sacrifice, and the ability to make a difference in the lives of ordinary people.

For decades, I have lived among you, worked with you, invested in our communities, and shared in both our challenges and aspirations. My commitment to Yagba West did not begin with politics, and it will not end with politics.

Today, I present to you a covenant built on practical solutions, people-centered representation, and a clear vision for a safer, stronger, and more prosperous Yagba West.

This is not merely a campaign promise. It is a commitment to serve.

1. Security and Community Protection

No society can develop where insecurity thrives.

I will champion legislative support and strategic partnerships that strengthen community security initiatives, support local vigilantes and hunters, and improve the protection of our farms, forests, and communities.

Every farmer, trader, student, and family deserves to live and work without fear.

2. Responsible Mining and Local Economic Benefits

Yagba West is blessed with abundant mineral resources. Our people must benefit from the wealth within our land.

Drawing from my experience in the mining sector, I will advocate policies and oversight measures that encourage mining companies operating in our communities to create local jobs, support community development projects, protect the environment, and fulfill their social responsibilities.

Our natural resources must become a blessing to our people.

3. Support for Widows, Orphans, and Vulnerable Citizens

A compassionate society does not abandon its most vulnerable.

I will facilitate partnerships, empowerment opportunities, scholarship support, and intervention programs that provide assistance to widows, orphans, and vulnerable families across Yagba West.

Development must leave no one behind.

4. Youth Development, Innovation, and Digital Opportunities

The future belongs to prepared minds.

I will work with government agencies, private organizations, and development partners to attract digital training opportunities, innovation hubs, technology programs, and skill-acquisition initiatives for our youths.

Our young people must be equipped to compete and succeed in a rapidly changing world.

5. The Yagba West Youth and Enterprise Database

Opportunities are most effective when they reach the right people.

I will facilitate the creation of a comprehensive database of youths, artisans, entrepreneurs, graduates, and skilled professionals across Yagba West.

This will help connect our people to empowerment programs, training opportunities, grants, employment initiatives, and business support interventions.

6. Culture, Tourism, and Heritage Promotion

Our culture is one of our greatest assets.

I will support initiatives that promote our festivals, cultural heritage, historical sites, and tourism potential, creating opportunities for economic growth, job creation, and community development.

We must preserve our heritage while creating value from it.

7. Unity, Inclusion, and Community Engagement

The progress of Yagba West requires collective effort.

I will provide representation that listens, engages, and unites people across communities, generations, professions, and political affiliations.

Our diversity should be a source of strength, not division.

8. Improved Primary Healthcare Services

Healthcare should be accessible to every family.

I will advocate for increased investment in Primary Healthcare Centres, maternal healthcare services, child healthcare programs, medical outreaches, and access to essential medications across our communities.

Healthy communities build prosperous societies.

9. Agriculture, Food Security, and Farmer Support

Agriculture remains the backbone of our economy.

I will support policies and programs that improve access to quality farm inputs, modern farming techniques, agricultural extension services, agro-processing opportunities, and farmer-focused interventions.

I will also continue to advocate stronger security measures that enable farmers to return safely to their farms.

Our farmers deserve protection, productivity, and prosperity.

10. Accessible, Accountable, and Effective Representation

The people deserve a representative they can reach.

Upon election, I will establish a functional constituency engagement structure that ensures regular communication with the people through town hall meetings, stakeholder consultations, community visits, and periodic performance briefings.

Representation must be visible, accessible, and accountable.

OUR SHARED FUTURE

This covenant is about the farmer seeking security.

It is about the youth seeking opportunity.

It is about the widow seeking support.

It is about the trader seeking prosperity.

It is about the child seeking education.

It is about every community seeking progress.

Together, we can build a Yagba West that is safer, more united, more prosperous, and better positioned for the future.

I offer not empty promises, but sincere commitment.

I offer not distant representation, but accessible leadership.

I offer not politics as usual, but purposeful service.

With your support, we can move Yagba West forward.
