🚨BREAKING NEWS: WAEC Removes Computer, Civic Education & Trade Subjects—But Senator Karimi Fires Back Immediately!🚨

In what many Nigerians are already calling an academic disaster in the making, WAEC has introduced a sudden guideline forcing SS3 students across Nigeria to immediately switch to a new curriculum—removing Civic Education, Computer Studies and all previous trade subjects from the 2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination.

According to the new WAEC rules, students who have been preparing for years will now be pushed into completely unfamiliar subjects they never studied, leaving them with only six examinable courses instead of the required eight or nine.

But earlier today at the Red Chamber in Abuja, Distinguished Senator Sunday Steve Karimi raised a Motion of Urgent National Importance, demanding that this controversial policy be reversed for current SS3 students who are already preparing for WAEC 2026.

The Senator also insisted that the guidelines must be implemented only for current SS1 students who will write WAEC in 2027/2028, arguing that the sudden change without adequate preparation could destroy academic performance nationwide.
