He earned a distinction in Production Engineering from the Kwara State College of Technology, Ilorin, and is a proud alumnus of Titcombe College, Egbe. With a strong technical background, he rose through the ranks in Nigeria’s water resources sector before stepping fully into public service.

🗳️ A Trusted Mandate, A Resounding Victory

In 2023, with the full support of the grassroots and backing from Governor Yahaya Bello, Karimi secured the APC senatorial ticket, overcoming a tough primary battle against an incumbent. His resounding victory over PDP’s Tajudeen Yusuf in the general election confirmed one thing: the people trust his leadership.

✍️ Legislator with a Conscience

Senator Karimi is respected in the Senate for his bold, thoughtful, and people-centered approach. His sponsored bill in 2023 — seeking to insulate the CBN leadership from partisan politics — made national headlines and showed his commitment to institutional integrity and democratic maturity.

When national conversations arose around the Senate's SUV procurement, Karimi didn't shy away. He spoke with clarity and courage, drawing attention to the deplorable state of Nigerian roads, reminding the nation that leadership also means protecting those who serve.

 Touching Lives, Building Communities

Beyond bills and debates, Senator Karimi’s heart beats for his people. His impact across Kogi West is tangible and transformative:

✅ A fully equipped military base in Egbe, enhancing security across the region.
✅ A ₦1.24 billion water project — delivering 75 solar-powered boreholes and reviving 60 dysfunctional water schemes to give thousands access to clean water.

These aren’t promises — they’re proof of a man who leads by doing.

 A Legacy in Motion

Senator Sunday Steve Karimi is more than a politician — he’s a symbol of accountability, courage, and responsive leadership. With every step he takes, he brings Kogi West closer to opportunity, safety, and sustainable development.

As his journey continues, one thing is clear:
Kogi West has a champion in Abuja. Nigeria has a statesman in the making.
