EID AL-ADHA: Senator Sunday Karimi Preaches Love, Sacrifice For Kogi State, Nigeria

The Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Sunday Karimi, has felicitated with the Muslim Faithfuls on the occasion of this year’s 2025, Eid al-Adha celebration, calling on the Muslims to embrace the virtues of love, tolerance, and sacrifice for the nation growth and development. 

Senator Sunday Steve Karimi describes Eid al-Adha as a season of deep spiritual reflection, sacrifice, and compassion, urging Muslims to imbibe the teachings and practices of Prophet Ibrahim.

According to the Senator, Eid al-Adha reminds us all of the importance of obedience to God and the need to make sacrifices for the peace and prosperity of ourselves, and our dear nation especially at a time like this; "we must use this period to promote peace, strengthen the bonds of unity, and foster religious harmony in our communities." The statement admonished. 

Senator Karimi emphasized the need for collective responsibility in nation-building, noting that peaceful coexistence and mutual respect among diverse groups remain vital to national progress. He urged Muslims in Kogi West and across Nigeria to extend generosity to the less privileged and to continue praying for the peace and prosperity of the country.
